What began in the 1930s as a service provider of sound reproducers for film projectors — operated by RCA and owned by GE — was renamed Strong Technical Services (STS or STRONG) in 2006 as part of Ballantyne Strong. Today STS is a leader in the entertainment industry, immersive experiences, and commercial A/V is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska with more than 150 people on staff, including a 24×7 support center and a nationwide field service technician team.
